Policy/Advocacy Goal - Successfully influence the San Diego City Council or relevant planning commission to reject the proposed development/redevelopment plans for the San Diego communities, which are perceived as destructive to neighborhood heritage. We will fight for responsble development and planning for all San Diego neighborhoods.

We are San Diego United Communities with over 20+ diverse neighborhoods across San Diego meeting under one roof, utilizing one hub and platform to communicate all of our different issues together united and also share extremely valuable information within all groups.
STRONGER ADVOCACY WITH San Diego United Communities
Citywide advocacy is crucial in San Diego and we fully practice the act of publicly supporting or recommending a cause or policy, or standing up for the rights of our neighborhoods. Our group will champion efforts wherther its for an individual, where one person helps another navigate a problem, or it can be systemic, which involves pushing an agenda for changing policies, laws, or rules to benefit our communities. SDUC engages in advocacy through activities like direct communication with policymakers, grassroots mobilization, or legal representation. Hosting Town Halls rotating them within different communities will bring most San Diegans together who care to protect our quality of life under one roof to prioritize our issues which will be a pivital goal for our group.
